Cornerstone

St. John the Baptist Church, Grove (near Wantage) is an Anglican parish church within the Evangelical tradition and part of the Diocese of Oxford. As a church we are exploring what it means to follow Jesus Christ in every area of our life. Our faith shapes our life and worship together, how we live in our community, and the way we participate in our wider world.

Vale Elim Church meets on Sundays at 10:30 am at Millbrook School, School Lane, Grove, Wantage, Oxfordshire.  There is ample free parking at the School Centre if you are travelling by car.

Grove Free Evangelical Church is meets in Grove C of E School on Sundays at 10.30am and 6.30pm. Our mission is ‘to build a community of people who live out God’s purposes’. We seek to do this as we:

• Give ourselves to God’s service in Ministry
• Reach out to others with God’s love in Evangelism
• Obey God’s Word in Discipleship
• Value one another as God’s people in Fellowship
• Express our love to God in Worship

We have been meeting together as a Church since 1980.  We partner together with other Churches in Grove in supporting the Cornerstone Christian Centre and Wantage and Grove Street Pastors..

Our church activities include:

• An active Youth Group meeting on Sundays and midweek
• Sunday Club for younger children
• Coffee Morning
• Men’s Group
• Mid-week Small groups
• Prayer Groups
• Fellowship meals and activities
• Supporting several Christian workers overseas

We are members of the FIEC - Fellowship of Independent Evangelical Churches and Evangelical Alliance (EA).
